Never Miss Train Delays Again: Real-time Updates in Your Calendar
Learn how to automatically display train delays and platform changes in your calendar - even before you arrive at the station.
Who hasn't experienced it: You arrive at the station and only then learn about a delay or platform change. With TravelFlow, that's a thing of the past.
The Problem with Traditional Schedule Apps
Automatic Notifications Through Calendar Integration
How Updates Work
- Every 15 minutes, current ÖBB/Westbahn data is retrieved
- Changes are automatically updated in the ICS feed
- Your calendar synchronizes (depending on settings every 15-60 minutes)
- You see the change automatically on all devices
What Information Gets Updated?
TravelFlow updates the following information in real-time:
- Delays: Changed departure and arrival times
- Platform changes: Current platform number shown in calendar entry
- Cancellations: Canceled trains are marked accordingly
- Alternative connections: Alternative trains are suggested
Practice Example: A Commuter's Morning
7:15 AM: You check your calendar at breakfast - your 7:45 train already has a 10-minute delay.
7:20 AM: Instead of rushing, you stay relaxed and finish your coffee in peace.
7:35 AM: Another glance at the calendar - now 15 minutes delay and platform change from 3 to 7.
7:40 AM: You walk to the station relaxed, already knowing which platform and that you still have time.
Calendar integration turns reactive checking into proactive information. Instead of constantly checking apps, you're automatically informed - exactly where you already plan your day.
